Why this exists
Mara Ellison started The Love Bible after too many nights reading advice that either flattered her, panicked her, or tried to sell her twelve vibrators before answering the question. Magazine fluff on one side. Affiliate farms on the other. Clinics that sounded like paperwork. Porn that pretended to be education.
She wanted a library that felt like a sharp friend: someone who has been through the silence, the desire gap, the “am I bad in bed” spiral — and who still did the homework. Scripts you can say out loud. Mechanics you can try tonight. Dignity when the honest next step is to leave.

Who we are
We are a small editorial masthead. We invent characters the way magazines invent house voices — so you know who is speaking — but we do not invent medical degrees, sexology licenses, or a fake clinical board. If a page needs a clinician, we say so and stop.
Mara Ellison — founding editor
Mid-thirties, US-based. Built The Love Bible after years of living the exact questions we publish. Signs off on voice, standards, and what we will never become (porn, coupon farms, “best 12 apps” spam).
June Park — senior writer, speech & couple
Attachment, conflict, trust, texting, morning-after repair. June writes the pages where the instrument is a sentence, not a product.
Rae Donovan — senior writer, body & tools
Pleasure literacy, clit mechanics, first toys, lube, overwhelm. Rae writes research-based guides and body pages. Until we have used a product ourselves, we label it honestly — never “we tested” when we did not.
What we publish
Practical articles for real situations: silence, texting pace, desire gaps, trust, pleasure literacy, body questions. Each page aims to answer early, give you something usable (a script, a mechanic, a timeline), and leave you able to take a next step — including the upright leave.
Who it’s for
Adults 18 and over. We write with women as the primary reader, in English (US). Partners and queer readers are welcome; the library is built around lived questions, not a single relationship template.
